Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi has welcomed Roma's prospective new owner Thomas Di Benedetto to the Italian game.
Di Benedetto is expected to finalise the deal to buy Roma on Friday in Boston.
Asked for his reaction to the news, Berlusconi said: "I am happy for him.
"He has to know that he is throwing himself into a magnificent adventure that gives you a lot of satisfaction but also pain and preoccupation.
"You spend a lot of money in football and you don't earn anything. I hope he has the same success I've had at Milan," Berlusconi cheekily concluded.
