Van Bommel hails 'easy' Allegri

Mark Van Bommel has is enjoying life at Milan and praised “easy” Coach Massimiliano Allegri.

“Allegri is very clear when explaining what he wants and that's why I like him,” the Dutch midfielder told Milan Channel.

“He's a great Coach and also very ‘easy' to deal with, but if something isn't right then he is also very direct in telling us things.”

Van Bommel arrived in January from Bayern Munich and was asked about the most exciting game to date in a Rossoneri jersey.

“Absolutely it had to be my first derby. There was so much pressure around the game and everyone was talking about it, especially as we had dropped five points in the lead-up to the match.

“I had been away on international duty and was reading the newspapers, so I could see the tension rising.

“Serie A has a mixture of Dutch, German and Spanish football. The sport is entertaining to watch in Italy, but also very tough and tactical.”
