Coutinho could quit Inter

Inter's Brazilian youngster Philippe Coutinho is reportedly considering a move in the summer in a bid to find first team football.

Under Rafa Benitez, attacking midfielder Coutinho featured regularly in his first few months at San Siro, contributing two assists from 15 games during the Spaniard's reign, before making his international debut for Brazil in October.

However, since Leonardo's arrival at the club, the 18-year-old has only made four appearances in four months.

It has been a disappointing second half of the season for Coutinho since picking up a hamstring injury in late November.

This ruled him out of the Brazil squad for the Under-20 South American Championship in January, and has since seen him struggle to break back into the team under compatriot Leonardo.

It is thought Leo's reluctance to involve the youngster is a mix of both technical and fitness concerns harboured over the former Vasco da Gama player, with the club eager to see him gain first team experience at a smaller club.

Linked with a move in January to Sampdoria before Jonathan Biabiany went there, it is now thought the youngster is also considering the possibility of a loan move in the summer.
