No Milan move for Balzaretti

Milan have made no inquiries at all about Palermo full-back Federico Balzaretti, his agent has stated.

The Italian international has been strongly linked with the Rossoneri in recent times, but Claudio Sclosa maintains there has been no contact.

"At this moment in time there are no official offers for him," the representative told TMW on Monday afternoon.

"Milan haven't been in touch with us at all. Have Milan talked to Palermo? You'll have to ask them."

The former Juventus defender has had a season to remember and is now a part of the international set-up.

"Right now he is the best full-back in Italy," Sclosa added. "But he's very tied to Palermo, the city, the fans and he's doing well.

"The big clubs may be interested in him, but he has two years left on his contract and any interested party will have to speak to Palermo first."
