As expected Cagliari have formally announced the appointment of Roberto Donadoni as their new Coach.

The former Italy boss replaces Pier Paolo Bisoli who was dismissed last night after back-to-back home defeats.

Donadoni will be unveiled before the media this evening at 5:45pm following at meeting with Cagliari President Massimo Cellino and the signing of his contract.

The 47-year-old has been out of work for just over a year after losing his job at Napoli.
