Francesco Guidolin has warned Udinese will “have a killer instinct” in tomorrow's Champions League showdown with Lazio.
Only a point separates them – and Roma – in the battle for fourth place, so this could be a decisive encounter as two of the contenders go head-to-head.
“I am a strong man, but I also put on a front, as I am always very tense ahead of games,” said the Coach.
“Tomorrow we are called into a very, very important match. We have certainly earned our right to be in this clash, because we played great football and after many failed attempts I hope to finally qualify for the Champions League.
“I'm convinced our side can do well and achieve the objective. We must be concentrated, but also calm and able to bring out everything we've got.
“This is a new experience for us and people are queuing up for tickets because it's exciting and you can feel the passion of the fans even during training sessions.
“We're as taut as a spring, but also have that cool, calm killer instinct.”
Gokhan Inler and Maurizio Domizzi continue to sit out their bans, while Andrea Coda is injured, but Pablo Armero and starlet Alexis Sanchez are back.
