Chievo boss Stefano Pioli is a proud man this morning after his side ensured their top-flight status with a draw at Juventus.
It had looked like the Flying Donkeys would fall to a defeat in Turin, but they hit back from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw.
"This is my most satisfying moment as a Coach," he stated. "I thank the players for putting themselves at my disposal and the club for putting us in excellent working conditions.
"Chievo have proved that they are a reality of Serie A football in terms of planning, seriousness and competence. With all this you achieve great results. And this is a great result."
Pioli joined the Verona minnows in the summer after Domenico Di Carlo left to take over at Sampdoria and President Luca Campedelli wants him to stay.
"We have an option with him for next season," the chief noted. "We'll have a meeting in the next few days before making a final decision as both parties have to agree on the future."
