Rossi would consider Plan B

Palermo boss Delio Rossi has done nothing to distance himself from rumours of a move to Sampdoria. "I wouldn't have a problem with Serie B."

The tactician has been linked with a switch to Doria given his problems in Sicily and Samp's struggles.

Doria were yesterday finally relegated from Serie A after Rossi's Palermo inflicted a fatal 2-1 home defeat.

"I'm happy with the victory, but sorry for Sampdoria and their fans," the tactician commented.

"Could I move to Sampdoria even in Serie B? What Division a team plays in has never been a problem for me in my career.

"All that I am looking for is a good project, a place where I can develop my way of playing football."

Rossi is expected to leave Palermo at the end of this term. He's also been linked with Roma, Genoa and Atalanta.
