Nando Muslera is reportedly in negotiations with Tottenham, freeing up Lazio to sign ex-Italy goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Spurs have targeted Uruguayan shot-stopper Muslera for next season.
They are after a more reliable pair of hands than the error-prone Heurelho Gomes.
In turn, selling Muslera would give Lazio the funds to swoop for Cagliari outcast Marchetti.
The goalkeeper started Italy's 2010 World Cup games, but has been off the field for a full year due to a contract dispute with Cagliari.
