It is finally official – Antonio Conte is the new Coach of Italian giants Juventus after he put pen to paper on a contract this afternoon.
The former Juve midfielder has been expected to take up the role for the last few weeks after leading Siena into the top flight.
The club confirmed Gigi Del Neri's exit this morning and have now announced the arrival of the ex-Italian international.
"Antonio Conte has returned to Juventus," read a statement. "This time though he won't lead us from the pitch, but from the bench – he is the new Coach.
"Conte has signed a two-year contract which will see him tied to the club until June 30, 2013."
Conte will be presented to the media at 4pm local time today.
"Juve want to win and we want to get back to doing so with Conte," said President Andrea Agnelli earlier on Tuesday.
"Conte is the first piece of a jigsaw aimed at getting back to being successful."
