Barcelona and Spain star Andres Iniesta is among the favourites for the Ballon d'Or, but feels “Wesley Sneijder deserves it, without a doubt.”
The FIFA World Player of the Year award has this season combined with France Football's Ballon d'Or for one unique trophy.
Iniesta is one of the favourites, having won Spain's first ever World Cup and the Liga with Barcelona.
Sneijder is another prime candidate after reaching the World Cup Final with Holland and securing Inter's Treble – Champions League, Scudetto and Coppa Italia.
“Sneijder deserves it, without a doubt,” said Iniesta in French newspaper L'Equipe.
“It's not for me. Behind him I'd place Xavi, Leo Messi and Iker Casillas.”
