Luca Toni is confident he will star in Antonio Conte's new Juventus. “I am clearly part of the project.”
The striker was signed from Genoa in January and did not entirely live up to expectations, partly due to recurring injuries.
“It is clear that for the club and the Coach I am part of the project,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“Therefore I am staying in Turin and will do everything I can to help the new Coach. We have to begin again after a season that was not great.”
Juve could be faced with an abundance of hitmen, as Fabio Quagliarella has recovered from his knee injury, while Amauri could return from his loan at Parma.
“I don't know what Amauri's future holds. He is a great player and I wish him all the best.”
