Francesco Antonioli has signed up for another season in Serie A after extending his contract at Cesena.
The Sea Horses have confirmed the deal on Saturday after the goalkeeper played in 37 League games for them this term.
Antonioli, formerly of Milan, Bologna and Roma amongst many others, will celebrate his 42nd birthday on September 14.
The oldest player to appear in Serie A was Marco Ballotta, who started in goal for Lazio in May 2008 at the age of 44 years and 38 days.
