Bologna want Diamanti and Caracciolo

Bologna are said to be pushing for two stars from relegated Brescia: Alessandro Diamanti and Andrea Caracciolo.

The Rossoblu survived a difficult campaign amid financial problems and a three-point penalty, but are preparing for what they hope to be a more stable season in Serie A.

In order to strengthen the squad, the Gazzetta dello Sport claims Bologna are making a double bid for two Brescia stars.

Alessandro Diamanti would reunite with Coach Pierpaolo Bisoli, as they already worked together at Prato.

The former West Ham United creative midfielder could be available for around €10m.

He is not the only target at the Stadio Rigamonti, as centre-forward Caracciolo is also on their wish-list.

Caracciolo famously turned down an offer from Dynamo Kiev, as he does not want to leave Italy.
