Thiago Silva says he will hold talks with Milan next month to reassure them of his commitment to the Rossoneri jersey.
The Brazilian international was recently linked with a switch to Barcelona after giving an interview in his homeland.
But, speaking with La Gazzetta dello Sport, he reassured anxious fans that he will still be at San Siro next term.
"I'll stay with Milan until the end of my contract and then we'll see what happens," the central defender confirmed.
"I have just extended my agreement until June 2016 and there is still time to understand whether we can stay together for life.
"I'm now concentrated on the Copa America, but when I return to Italy I will talk to Vice-President Adriano Galliani to clear things up."
Silva also added that he would be speaking to Santos midfielder and Brazil teammate Ganso about life in Italy.
"I'll mark him closely in Brazil training," he added. "I'll convince him that there is nothing better than Milan."
The Rossoneri have been associated with a move for Ganso even if it appears that their interest has cooled a little.
