Trezeguet move on hold

Former Juventus hitman David Trezeguet could return to Serie A this summer just a year after his Turin exit.

"At this moment in time I am out of the country and I'm waiting for Trezeguet to get back from his holidays," stated agent Antonio Caliendo to TMW.

"When he does get back then we will evaluate his future with real attention. He has various offers from Italy and beyond."

The 33-year-old former French international is available on a free transfer after he had his contract at Spanish club Hercules rescinded.

Napoli are one of the clubs said to be interested in the former Monaco striker.
