Despite being linked with Emiliano Viviano and Sebastien Frey, Genoa are insisting that they don't need a new goalkeeper.
Viviano is looking for a club rather than sitting on the bench at Inter next term, while Fiorentina have apparently offered their French custodian to the Marassi outfit.
"We are not interested in Viviano," Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca told Radio Sportiva.
"We already have Eduardo at the club and we want to give him our backing for the new season."
The Portugal international joined the Grifone in the summer of 2010 on a four-year contract at the Ferraris.
However, the former Braga, Beira Mar and Vitoria Setubal man did struggle at times during his first Serie A campaign.
It's understood that Eduardo cost Genoa around €4m.
