River Plate President Daniel Passarella is in Italy – reportedly to sell Erik Lamela to a Serie A club.
The 19-year-old River Plate player is considered as a rising star of the Argentine and South American game.
An attacking midfielder, Lamela has been linked with moves to Roma, Napoli and Milan in recent months.
River Plate are said to be looking to cash in on the individual after their recent shock relegation from the top flight.
Other reports claim that Lamela's father is also in the peninsula today, possibly to speak to interested parties.
It is being suggested that the youngster could be sold for around €12m.
