Amauri could be back at Parma for the start of the new season, boss Franco Colomba has claimed.
The striker will start pre-season training with Juventus later today after he spent the last six months on loan at the Tardini.
The Brazilian-born Italian international helped the club survive the drop with seven goals in 11 games – and the Gialloblu would like him back.
"Our hopes of landing Amauri are not over," Colomba told TMW in an interview on Thursday. "He knows that Parma are waiting for him if there is a possibility to net him."
Amauri is expected to be sold by the Turin giants this summer seeing as he has just a year left on his contract.
His current €4m a season wages would represent a problem though for Parma, a club who will again be fighting for survival.
"Our objective will be to get as many points as we need to stay up and as soon as possible," Colomba continued.
"To remain in Serie A is the initial aim, then it will be up to us whether we will be able to achieve more than that."
