Silvestre hopes for Juve move

Matias Silvestre says he would immediately accept a move to Juventus, but he's not aware of any confirmed interest.

Catania and the Turin giants are expected to discuss the defender at some point on Friday after it emerged that the Argentine is liked by the Old Lady.

"I've heard a lot of rumours, but I don't know about anything concrete," the 26-year-old told Tuttosport.

"I'll now speak with my agent and with Catania. We'll make a decision together, but I think there are the conditions in place to start a new adventure.

"Juventus are always Juventus, a great club," he added. "At the moment I don't know what the situation is.

"It would certainly be an important opportunity, one that should immediately be accepted. I would have no fear in joining the Bianconeri."

The South American, 26, is valued at €8m by the Stadio Massimino outfit.
