Juve drop Amauri and Melo for America

Reports intensify that Amauri and Felipe Melo are on the market, as Juventus officially dropped them for the US summer tour.

The two Brazilians are not included in the list of 27 players flying out to America for a series of friendlies.

It fuels already existing rumours that Melo is wanted by several Brazilian clubs, including San Paolo and Corinthians.

Amauri already spent the last six months on loan at Parma and has been linked with Flamengo, while a Serie A option is Genoa.

Other players left out of the trip to America starting on Tuesday are Sergio Almiron, Albin Ekdal, Fabio Grosso, Momo Sissoko and the injured Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Juventus will continue training in Philadelphia, then play Sporting Lisbon in Toronto on July 23.

They travel to New York to face Club America on July 26, then Raleigh, North Carolina against Chivas de Guadalajara on July 28.
