Rodney Strasser could agree to join Lecce from Italian champions Milan over the next 24 hours.
The 21-year-old is pondering a move to the southern side in an attempt to play regularly in Serie A this season.
The Rossoneri are ready to loan the Sierra Leone youngster to the Stadio Via Del Mare outfit.
"We are talking to Milan," Lecce sporting director Carlo Osti admitted recently. "The player is of interest to us. Now we're waiting for his response."
Strasser has played five Serie A games for the Rossoneri, scoring one goal in last season's win at Cagliari.
