Max Allegri saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Cassano “have fun together” during Milan's 12-0 friendly outing.
The Rossoneri thrashed Solbiatese with Ibra netting a brace and forcing an own goal, while Cassano was among those on target.
Mathieu Flamini, Alberto Paloschi, Gianluca Zambrotta, Urby Emanuelson and the recovering Pippo Inzaghi also hit the back of the net.
“I liked the attitude the team had going on to the pitch, as we tried to score as many goals as possible and pushed from the start,” said Coach Allegri.
“These friendlies are important to help us practice the movements between all areas of the squad. Now the test against Bayern Munich will enable us to prepare for the Italian Super Cup.”
Milan play Bayern for the Audi Cup on July 26 before travelling to Beijing for the Italian Super Cup clash with Inter.
“Ibra and Cassano really had fun playing together, so the game was more than a mere training exercise,” added Allegri.
However, new signing Taye Taiwo was disappointing and did not seem up to speed with his teammates.
“He still has the fitness work in his legs, so obviously it'll take a little time for him to settle in at his best.”
