The agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi is surprised by all the transfer speculation regarding the Napoli striker.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis has cast the player's future back into doubt, after admitting that he was powerless to stop him leaving if his €31m rescission clause was met.
De Laurentiis even went on to name Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic as a possible replacement for the Argentine.
"I don't know why everyone is talking about Lavezzi so much," Alejandro Mazzoni told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"We're talking about an eventual situation which at the moment does not even exist," continued the representative.
"President De Laurentiis is right to say that whoever doesn't love the Azzurri shirt should leave, but that statement doesn't have anything to do with Il Pocho.
"We're not doing anything to try and get Lavezzi a transfer either."
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has spoken of his admiration for the South American, although he does believe his exit fee is overpriced.
