Roma look to Leandro Paredes and Edin Dzeko as they host high-flying Atalanta, who are without captain Alejandro Gomez.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT).
Luciano Spalletti’s men are only four points ahead of Napoli in second place and have a stroke of luck going into this clash with a side that beat them in Bergamo back in November.
Papu Gomez is suspended, robbing Atalanta of their captain, top scorer and arguably best player.
Atalanta have not won any of the last four games Gomez has missed, managing two draws.
He is replaced at the Olimpico by Andrea Conti, as Gian Piero Gasperini makes a number of changes from last week’s draw with Sassuolo.
Conti lines-up alongside Remo Freuler, Hans Hateboer and Franck Kessie – tipped to join Roma next season for €28m – in midfield, with Pierluigi Gallini replacing Etrit Berisha in goal.
Leonardo Spinazzola, Boukary Drame and Ervin Zukanovic also miss the trip.
This is a very special occasion for Spalletti, who marks his 400th Serie A game as a Coach.
Daniele De Rossi is not fit enough to start today due to an ankle injury, with Emerson Palmieri and Alessandro Florenzi sidelined, so Paredes gets the nod in midfield.
Radja Nainggolan, Mohamed Salah and Diego Perotti support Capocannoniere Edin Dzeko, but Stephan El Shaarawy and Juan Jesus are benched.
Atalanta are unbeaten against Roma since a 2-1 result in Bergamo in November 2014, winning two and drawing two, home and away.
Their last loss at the Olimpico was 3-1 in April 2014.
