The Sicilians would’ve gone down this weekend if they had lost or simply failed to get a better result than Empoli.

Neither of the two happened, as Diamanti curled in one of his trademark free kicks – his first goal in a Rosanero jersey – and Aleesami completed the victory with his run from midfield.
