Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed the signing of former Juventus full-back Dani Alves.
The Brazilian terminated his contract with the Bianconeri by mutual consent earlier this summer, and appeared to be heading to Manchester City for a reunion with Pep Guardiola.
However, reports have emerged in recent days that he would instead move to Ligue 1, and that has been officially confirmed today.
“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Daniel Alves Da Silva,” an official statement begins.
“The Brazilian defender is now tied to the capital club until June 30, 2019.
“Free after his departure from Juventus, the Juazeiro native becomes the 30th Rouge et Bleu Brazilian since the creation of the club in 1970.”
