Udinese have officially signed Valon Behrami on a two-year contract with option for a third from Watford.
It is a return to Serie A for the 32-year-old Swiss international, who had also played for Genoa, Verona, Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli.
“We needed a player with these characteristics and this experience, while Behrami wanted to challenge himself in Serie A again,” said director general Franco Collavino on the official club website.
“The transfer was concluded very quickly. It is an important buy, an investment for this season and the project we are moving forward.”
