Juventus director general Beppe Marotta insists they are not “anxious” about the Olympiacos clash, but Gigi Buffon is at risk for Inter.
It kicks off at 19.45 GMT, follow the build-up and action as it happens on the LIVEBLOG.
“There is no anxiety, as that is a negative emotion. There is concentration, respect for the opponents and naturally we want to be in the ideal conditions for this game,” Marotta told Mediaset Premium ahead of the Champions League trip to Athens.
Goalkeeper Buffon isn’t even on the bench due to a calf injury, but will he be available for the Derby d’Italia with Serie A leaders Inter this weekend?
“I hope Buffon can play against Inter this weekend. It’s a precautional stop after Friday’s game with Napoli, so it’s only right that he goes automatically into the stands. I have faith, as the medical staff are doing everything possible.
“The extraordinary run in Serie A at this moment is of Napoli and Inter. Our results have been more or less the same as at this stage last season, in fact we have one more point, so they are the ones doing unusual things.
“The important thing is to stay close to the leading pack and then prepare for the final sprint.”
