Manchester United have joined Manchester City and Chelsea in their pursuit of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

According to the Daily Record, Jose Mourinho has targeted the 26-year-old Brazilian as part of a €90m January spending spree.

Their rivals, Manchester City, had already tried to coax Alex Sandro away over the summer and entered into a bidding war with Chelsea.

Juve held firm, but director general Beppe Marotta has repeatedly said “we do not keep a player if he asks to leave.”

His performances have been poor this season and Coach Max Allegri commented in yesterday’s Press conference that they were waiting for the “real Alex Sandro” to appear.

If Manchester United come forward with an offer worth €60m in January, it’s possible the Bianconeri will reconsider their position.
