Jack Bonaventura bagged a brace to give Milan their first win under new Coach Gennaro Gattuso, despite Simone Verdi’s strike at San Siro.

The Rossoneri revamped their tactics, scrapping the three-man defence favoured under Vincenzo Montella.

Bonaventura got their first home goal since September 20 when his low drive took a deflection off Giancarlo Gonzalez.

Verdi, a former Milan youth team player, drew level with his impressive finish off the outside of the left boot after Mattia Destro had skinned Mateo Musacchio.

However, Bonaventura struck again in the second half with a header on Fabio Borini’s cross and the woodwork kept out Adam Masina.
