Simone Verdi’s agent admits talk of the Bologna winger joining Napoli is flattering but insists “there’s been nothing concrete.”
Verdi has been heavily linked with a move to Napoli this month as they look to maintain their push for a first Scudetto in 28 years, but Luigi Lauro made it clear no move was in the pipelines, despite the Partenopei being “a top club”.
“[Napoli sporting director] Giuntoli knows what he’s doing,” he told CalcioNapoli24.

“I’m sure he’ll bring some important players to Napoli. I like him a lot, but there’s never been anything concrete with him.
“Still, interest from a top club like Napoli can only please us all.”
