Inter hope to conclude a deal with Barcelona for Rafinha, taking him on loan with option to buy for €30m plus bonuses.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Nerazzurri director of sport Piero Ausilio is currently having dinner with Blaugrana consultant Ariedo Braida.
They continue to whittle down the details, as multiple sources stated that today’s offer of a loan with €25m option to buy was rejected.
Barcelona want €35-40m, so they could well agree terms with the option to buy worth €30m plus various bonuses.
It would, crucially, be a free six-month loan, so Inter do not have any obligations.
That is particularly important, as Rafinha has not played since April 2017 due to injury problems and his fitness levels are something of a mystery.
