Inter transfer target Rafinha made his comeback today, 290 days after his last competitive game for Barcelona.

The midfielder came on at the 78th minute of tonight’s Copa del Rey match against Espanyol.

He had been out of action since having surgery on an internal meniscus injury in April 2017.

It was the latest in a series of setbacks for the Brazilian, who turns 25 next month.

He was out for 196 days with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in 2015-16, then had muscular problems an Achilles tendon issue.

Inter are in advanced negotiations to sign Rafinha on loan with option to buy for around €35m.
