Joao Mario is increasingly irritating Inter chiefs by turning down loan moves to first Watford and now West Ham United.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Portugal international has rejected another temporary switch to the Premier League, as he is holding out for a bigger club.

He wants regular playing time to avoid missing out on the 2018 World Cup squad and is very rarely used at Inter, despite costing €40m to sign from Sporting CP in August 2016.

The Nerazzurri would gladly sell him if they can make back the money spent, but are finding it difficult to get that sum in his current situation.

There had been links with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, but those seem to have died down lately.
