The Premier League side are offering €1.5m for the six-month loan and covering his wages.

There will also be an option to buy for a very high sum that should give Inter back most if not all of the €40m original spend.

Joao Mario marks his 25th birthday tomorrow and this season the creative midfielder has made 14 Serie A appearances.
