Danilo D’Ambrosio is confident Inter’s “bad spell is behind us” but admits “maybe we’re too nice.”
Inter have gone eight Serie A games without a win to fall out of Scudetto contention and only just hold on to a Champions League place.
Nonetheless, the right-back told Premium Sport: “Our recent results would be left alone if we reach our objective of qualifying for the Champions League.
“Everything else will remain just statistical. The important thing is to believe in our quality and not break down. Our bad spell is behind us.
“Comparison with past seasons? Now we’re on a different path of growth, even if it’s true that we’re going through a difficult patch.
“Still, if at the start of the season, we were told that we’d be one point from third at this stage, we’d have all been happy.
“Cliques in the dressing room? So many lies have been said. It’s normal to be under pressure at a big team, but we were attacked, even when we were top, for the quality of our football.
“We stuck together and told each other to move forward. We’re a team made up of nice guys, although maybe we’re too [nice].
“Rafinha? He’s a quality player. We know that different physical and tactical work must be done in Italy, but he’s fit in well.”
