Sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli is relishing Milan’s ‘beautiful’ Europa League tie with Arsenal but warns “we’re not afraid of anyone.”
Milan’s reward for dispatching Ludogorets is a last-16 tie with Arsenal, in a repeat of the 2012-13 Champions League at the same stage, when the Rossoneri won 4-3 on aggregate.
“It’s a beautiful challenge against a great team,” he told Premium Sport.
“It’s come at the right time and it’s right that we pit ourselves against an important team.
“We have no fear and we want to go all the way in the competition. We respect them, but we’re not afraid of anyone.
“We’re certain that there’ll be a packed San Siro, plus there will still be plenty of fans in London, who will give us a big hand.”
