Lazio director of sport Igli Tare warned a victory in tonight’s first leg against Dynamo Kiev is “imperative” in the Europa League Round of 16.

It kicks off at the Olimpico at 20.05 GMT, click here for the line-ups and Liveblog.

“It has been a difficult week. We suffered two defeats to Milan and Juventus that were very unlucky. The team played on a par with their opponents in both games, if not better, and that is what we must build on,” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.

“Today we have a great opportunity to get back on our feet, an important match in front of our fans. We must face this with the right attitude from the opening minutes.

“Dynamo Kiev are a very physical side, so a win tonight would be of great help going into the second leg. We know the climate is tough to play in when we go to Ukraine, so the imperative is to win this evening.”

Felipe Anderson supports Ciro Immobile this evening, but summer signing Luis Nani has barely featured.

“Nani is one of the professionals I admire the most, as he is a great name in world football and his attitude has always been exemplary.

“I spoke to Simone Inzaghi and we are sure that from here until the end of the season, he will be very useful to the team.”
