Napoli captain Marek Hamsik is still targeting the Scudetto – “the dream is possible”.

The Partenopei are three points behind defending champions Juventus, as they aim to secure their first League title since 1990.

“We’re hoping for a misstep from Juventus and to be ready to take advantage,” Hamsik said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“The dream is possible. It will be a grand finale, the remaining games will be nine finals. The first is on Sunday against Genoa, we’re not looking to far ahead.

“This year I’m enjoying it more than any other year. Even though we haven’t won anything yet, I’m taking great satisfaction.

“We’re having fun playing, we’re making 800-900 passes per game. I’ve never seen a Napoli like this.”

The Slovakian also moved to reassure fans after top-scorer Gonzalo Higuain picked up an ankle injury in training.

“It’s a knock that happens in training, no big deal. He’s fine.”
