Torino youngster Simone Edera has been given his first call-up for the Italy Under-21s, as Alberico Evani names his first squad.
Azzurrini CT Luigi Di Biagio is taking the senior team for this month’s friendlies, so Evani will take charge of the Under-21s.
Today he has named his squad for the games with Norway and Serbia, and Edera is included for the first time.
Though he’ll miss the Arsenal game tonight, Milan right-back Davide Calabria has been named in the Azzurrini squad.
