“I don’t like the term bad luck. On the one hand it’s a positive moment, as the team put in some positive performances and we never gave up even against Cagliari. Now we are here fighting for a fundamental victory,” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.

“I think it’s the first time we have played with this line-up. There’s a lot of quality in attack, but we have to be wary in defence, because Dynamo Kiev are solid and press for 90 minutes. We saw that at the Olimpico and I assume we’ll see the same tonight.

“We will be very aggressive. We studied what we did wrong in the first leg and have to start very strong, keep the lines tight and attack in numbers.”

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was asked who could win the Europa League and did not name Lazio.

“The important thing is to win tonight and then look forward. I’ve seen sides like Braga in the Europa League Final, so nothing is impossible.

“We’ll try to win this evening and then hope to prove Wenger wrong.”
