Lazio fans are staging a protest against referees who are “ridiculous and in bad faith” and pledged they will have “respect or war.”

The Aquile have been on the end of a series of contentious decisions this season, even with the use – or non-use of VAR technology.

This prompted a sit-in with hundreds of fans in the streets of Rome, while the ultras will enter the Curva Nord only 15 minutes into tonight’s game against Bologna.

This prompted a sit-in with hundreds of fans in the streets of Rome, while the ultras will enter the Curva Nord only 15 minutes into tonight’s game against Bologna.

Messages were read out by the ultras groups and flyers passed around to spread the message: ‘Respect or War.’

“Enough is enough! Fiorentina, Torino, Milan, Juve, Cagliari, not to mention the games we won despite the shocking errors.

“Today we are here, like 18 years ago, when we took back the Scudetto, in order to defend Lazio. Now we will take back what we are owed.

“Tired of watching evident errors made by a class of referees who are ridiculous and in bad faith.”

This week, Lazio fans also took out a class action lawsuit against the FIGC over refereeing decisions that they claim damaged the club and its supporters.

“We have to raise our voices to ensure we are respected,” declared an ultras leader through a megaphone.

“Lazio were damaged scientifically by a system that is clearly in bad faith. There is a clear plan to massacre Lazio and the Laziali. We ask for respect and normality.”
