The 20-year-old striker has been in fine form for the Rossoneri this season, winning his first Italy call-up for the friendlies against Argentina and England.

That has inevitably led to rumours of interest from elsewhere, but the youngster is keen to stay at San Siro.

“We’ve started talking about it, but we haven’t got down to the details yet,”  Donato Orgnoni explained, when asked by MilanNews about Cutrone’s contract.

“There won’t be any problems, we’ll find an agreement. We’ll see after Easter, we’ll sit down with the club and talk about it.

“The intention on our part, and on the part of the club, is to find an agreement with Milan.

“When a 20-year-old lad has these numbers it’s normal that he’ll be under the magnifying glass of a lot of clubs, but we’ve never caused problems.

“We’re at Milan, we’ll stay at Milan, and we won’t cause problems.”
