Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde warns the Champions League quarter-final with Roma isn’t over. “They put three goals past Chelsea.”

The first leg ended 4-1 at Camp Nou on Wednesday evening and Edin Dzeko’s away goal leaves some slender hope of an upset at the Olimpico.

After all, the Giallorossi have not conceded a single goal in their five Champions League home matches this season and beat Chelsea 3-0.

“We must keep in mind that they put three goals past Chelsea both at home and at Stamford Bridge,” said Valverde ahead of Saturday’s Liga match with Leganes.

“I liked the performance against Roma because it was truly very difficult. We created opportunities, but also had two or three distractions that we usually don’t see.

“We’re in the quarter-finals, it’s only natural the opponents will be of a level where they can cause us problems.”
