Stefano Pioli admits he ‘doesn’t know’ whether Fiorentina will sell Federico Chiesa but confirms ‘I have a contract in place for next season.’
Chiesa is expected to be the subject of more transfer speculation this summer, despite the Italy starlet only signing a new contract in November, while Fiorentina could tie Pioli down to a longer deal, the Coach having led the Viola to six straight wins.
“Future? There won’t be any problems, I already have a contract in place for next season,” he told Rai Radio.

“I’m calm, even if you can never be in football! Can Chiesa become a ‘bandiera’ or will he be sold like Bernardeschi? I don’t know.
“What I can say is that he’s grown a lot, he’s made great strides and he can become very important for this club.”
