Schalke 04 have confirmed that Milan, Juventus and Roma target Max Meyer will leave on a free transfer this summer.

The 22-year-old is out of contract on June 30, and it has been speculated for some time that he wouldn’t sign a new deal.

“Meyer will definitely leave Schalke this summer,” sporting director Christian Heidel confirmed in today’s Press conference.

“We're dealing with the situation very professionally. It's all been very amicable.”
