Valencia have refused to allow Inter a discount or late payment for Joao Cancelo, according to reports.

The full-back is on loan with the Nerazzurri, and they can buy him outright for €35m before May 30.

However, the Beneamata have Financial Fair Play targets to meet, and must raise €40-50m by June 30 to avoid being in breach of their agreements.

It was therefore hoped that Valencia would allow Inter to pay for Cancelo after that date, but today’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that proposal has been rejected.

There have already been offers in excess of €50m from the Premier League, while Real Madrid and Juventus are also interested.

Los Che therefore have no incentive to offer discounts or delays on the Portuguese international.

Valencia will sign Geoffrey Kondogbia outright for €25m from Inter, and have confirmed they’ll pay within the pre-established time frames.
