This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Carletto is in London, and had dinner with super-agent Kia Joorabchian on Friday night.

Ancelotti told the agent about the Partenopei’s transfer targets, and top of the list is Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Pepe Reina is leaving to join Milan, and Napoli want to secure a top-quality replacement.

Clearly the Giallorossi will resist selling to a rival, but the Brazilian could be tempted to significantly increase his €1.5m per season salary.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis is waiting for Jorginho to join Manchester City and Marek Hamsik to move to China, while he also expects someone to pay Jose Callejon’s €20m release clause.

That would bring in around €100m, meaning there would be plenty to spend on Alisson.

The newspaper also reports that sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is working to bring Tottenham’s Mousse Dembélé to the San Paolo.

His salary of around €4.5m per season would put him on par with Lorenzo Insigne as the Partenopei’s highest earner, but he’d be cheaper than Arturo Vidal.
