Chievo have officially confirmed interim Coach Lorenzo D’Anna on a new contract, while extending director Giancarlo Romairone’s deal.
D’Anna was promoted from the Primavera youth team at the end of April with the team at risk of relegation, but won all three Serie A games against Crotone, Bologna and Benevento.
It proved enough for the club to trust the 46-year-old former player with the job on a permanent basis.
D’Anna has signed a contract for the 2018-19 season, plus an option for another year.
